These lovely tin earrings are created from a vintage tin from England around 1970. The hand-beaded trim is secured with brass wire and a small matt olive-green tear-drop bead.
Vintage tins have been in circulation for many years and even decades. Many of these tins held cookies, teas and cakes back in the 1960s, 1970s, and the 1980s. There may be some minor scratches and divots. This is all part of the life of the tins we use in our jewelry.
