Vintage Tin Eggplant Purple Fan Earrings

The tin of these earrings were from an art nouveau gorgeous tin from Brazil. The tin has been hand domed and then a brass loop is riveted to the tin, using a riveting jewelry hammer. About 1 ½ inches long on a stainless surgical steel earwire. The vintage tins we use have been in circulation for many years and even decades. Many of these tins held cookies, teas, and cakes back in the 1960s, 1970s, and the 1980s…and later.
There may be some minor scratches and divots. This is all part of the life of the tins we use in our jewelry. Each piece has been hand-cut, filed, and sanded along the edge.
